NFL Football is back! I think… I’m excited. Not quite sure. I was excited about baseball when it came back, but it’s so weird without any fans in the stands and pumped in cheering through the speakers, that I haven’t really been watching any more. I gave basketball a shot too but it’s even weirder with players boycotting games and writing political messages on the back of their jerseys instead of their names, so I can’t really watch that one either. I’ve been a gigantic fan of sports for four decades because it was an escape… Just sports… No politics, no pandemics, no opting out, no diseases to worry about just SPORTS. So I will watch tonight when the Chiefs take on the Texans and I will be cautiously optimistic. I would really love it if this year‘s football season is all about football. Is that too much to ask?
