Do you still answer the phone when it’s a number you don’t recognize?  Or have you caught onto the fact that there’s a 99% chance it’s a scammer?

68% of Americans now say they “rarely” or “never” answer if it’s a number they don’t know.  Another 19% said sometimes . . . and only 7% of us ALWAYS answer the phone, no matter who’s calling.

5% . . . or 1 in 20 people . . . said it’s not a problem for them, and they never get calls from numbers they don’t know.  Most were young people, so it’s possible the scammers just haven’t found them yet.
