A 13 year old girl who was reported missing from the Dallas, Texas area was found more than 1,000 miles away – locked in a shed in North Carolina.

The girl was found near Charlotte and was abducted by a man she had been talking to online, on a social media site.

The man allegedly kidnapped and assaulted her, according to police. A 34 year old man was arrested and faces eight felony charges, including child abduction, felonious restraint, human trafficking and statutory rape of a child.

He’s currently in a North Carolina jail on a $1,250,000 bond. Read more from CNN here.
