It’s hard to believe that the Mudbugs regular season is coming to a close, but the playoffs are on the horizon, making this weekend a nice chance to give the boys a boost before playoff hockey.
Luckily for Mudbugs fans, this will not be the final weekend of Mudbugs Hockey in Shreveport. Thankfully, ther ‘Bugs clinched a playoff spot just a couple of weeks ago. The team has only missed the playoffs once in their franchise history that goes all the way back to 1997.
However, that’s nbot to say these games don’t carry any meaning. Hockey is no doubt a momentum sport, and the team that gets hot at just the right time always has a chance to win the whole thing. There’s absolutely no crowd in the NAHL like the Shreveport Mudbugs home crowd, and no team’s fanbase can help catapult their team on the ice quite like our fans can with the energy they create.
Come out and pack the pond this weeknd as the Shreveport Mudbugs look to get important momentum ahead of the NAHL playoffs!
