Not according to this study… Shreveport is almost the worst city for Foodies!
A new study looked at 182 U.S. cities and ranked them based on their “foodie” appeal. They weighed 29 different factors, including the cost of restaurants and groceries . . . the number, diversity, and quality of gourmet options . . . and the local food, including food trucks and farmer’s markets.
The Top 10 are: Portland, Oregon . . . Orlando . . . Miami . . . San Francisco . . . Austin, Texas . . . Sacramento . . . Seattle . . . Tampa . . . Las Vegas . . . and San Diego. (Chicago is #12, L.A. is #15, and New York City is #18.)
Out of the 182 cities they considered, the bottom five are: Pearl City, Hawaii . . . Montgomery, Alabama . . . Moreno Valley, California . . . Shreveport, Louisiana . . . and Jackson, Mississippi.
