My beautiful wife Allison is an Amazing chef… but now she wants to be a MASTER CHEF! Yes, I am a very lucky guy! My wife makes delicious meals almost every night. Whether it’s my favorite homemade fettuccini alfredo or her incredible Mexican food or her most recent cuisine mastery Cajun gumbo… I eat good!
We’ve been huge fans of Master Chef and Gordon Ramsey for years and Allison has always talked about trying out but was too nervous. But then, we just happened to run into her favorite contestant from the show, Shari Mukherjee, at the St. Jude Country Cares conference. Shari is a big supporter of St. Jude and is NOW a big supporter of my wife’s cooking! She encouraged her to go for it and audition, and she even gave her some tips, advice and maybe even a little insider info…
Allison has just submitted her MASTER CHEF audition meal… and I HELPED! (I was her official taste tester) She made “Pan-seared sea scallops with a lemon garlic asparagus and pomegranate garnish, on top of a maple-chipotle, smoked hickory and honey sea salt roasted honey-nut squash purée.”
And now we wait. Hope she makes the Show!
