A Driver Was Caught in an HOV Lane . . . with an Inflatable Grinch
People have been caught cheating in an HOV lane with a FAKE “person” in the passenger seat. But this one is HOLIDAY-themed.
A driver in Arizona was caught driving in a carpool lane with an INFLATABLE GRINCH sitting in the front seat. The Arizona Department of Public Safety posted a photo online, and it’s pretty funny.
The driver probably isn’t laughing though. A trooper pulled the car over, confirmed that there were no other passengers in the car, and issued a citation.
It’s unclear how much the ticket was for. But according to a report from 2018, local fines for HOV violations “start at $400.”
