It’s Officially Crawfish Season in Shreveport!

It’s officially crawfish season! We know this because I got my first Box of the year!! So good… I almost forgot during the off-season. Spicy… Savory… and the Corn! I tried out a new Crawfish place in Bossier. “Cooyon’s Cajun Crawfish” You just drive up and the staff walks out and takes your order, then a couple minutes later, you’re EATIN’ GOOD! Have you ever cooked crawfish yourself?? It’s pretty easy… and delicious!

To cook crawfish, you will need to purchase fresh or live crawfish. Start by bringing a large pot of heavily salted water to a rolling boil. Next, add the crawfish to the boiling water, making sure that they are completely submerged. Boil them for 10 to 15 minutes until they turn bright red and float to the top. Lastly, strain the crawfish and enjoy!
