A woman identified as “Ashley Cream” made a request at a zoning board meeting in Boca Raton, Florida asking for a holiday to be created for sugar daddies and mommies. She argued that they are a huge part of the economy and pay for things like education, cars, homes, and enhancements.

The request was shut down by the board chairman and deemed more appropriate for the city council. However, a holiday for sugar daddies already exists on June 15th, created by the website SeekingArrangement.com.
