The Lindale Veteran’s Memorial was vandalized on Halloween night.  Eggs were thrown at the monument and stained the memorial.  The town of Lindale has found a company that is capable of doing this type of cleanup and the crew is visiting the location today (Monday).  The post that was shared on Facebook, along with a picture of the vandalism, notes that the memorial is made of granite stone, which as you know is porous, allowing liquid substances to seep into it.  The people who committed this crime have not been located, but I hope they are and are punished for not having respect for the fallen and the men and women who have served.  Lindale is famous for being the hometown of Miranda Lambert.  I’m not sure why someone would do such a thing.  I wish they had just thrown the eggs at their own face.  And when I say eggs, I mean a boulder.
